Tiwa Savage, has reportedly reacted over those criticizing her as regards to her recent video tape revelation. According to her, she would not succumb to threats of blackmail for doing “something natural." The award-winning Nigerian singer also said, she remains unperturbed by opinions of her critics who she said thought the video tape would destroy her and make her feel ashamed. She added that, she has no regret over her decision to open up about the video tape. Tiwa Savage made this statement in a post she shared on her Instagram stories on Monday evening, 18th October, 2021. She wrote: "You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me and how I’m able to joke on stage about something you taught should destroy me and make me feel ashamed. You must knock my head when you see me otherwise..” Recall that, some Nigerians had earlier criticised Tiwa Savage while wondering why she would allow such a “sensitive" video clip to go

What you should know about the attack on the Army Special Super Camp at Ngamdu by Boko Haram

Image
The high rate of attack on Nigerian soldiers by Boko Haram terrorists, has called for a serious action by the federal government, most especially, the recent attack on the Nigerian Army Special Super Camp at Ngamdu, which I believe, is nothing but a counter-attack. It is evident that Nigerian soldiers have been targeted by the insurgents, following the claims by the military that, the terrorists had been largely defeated. In a recent report, the Boko Haram terrorists attacked the Army Special Super Camp at Ngamdu (a border town between Borno and Yobe States), killed over 6 soldiers, injured the Army General and captured military operational vehicles, including their arms and ammunition. The terrorists stormed the army unit with about 10 gun-trucks and 4 MRAP, beat the security checks and pretended to be friendly forces. They first attacked the Brigade Commander, wounded his ADC and later killed like six soldiers. I believe this to be a revenge mission or counter-attack against the ar

[Opinion]: Why Ifeanyi Ubah was booed by Igbo traders during his campaign in Lagos (Video)

Image
It's no longer news that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), was roundly booed at in Alaba market, Lagos State, when he took his campaign train from Anambra to the nation's commercial capital city on Wednesday, 13th October, 2021. After pondering on this report, I came to a realization that, it's not proper for a contestant to contest in another man's land. "Imagine that a Northerner who is contesting for governorship in kano state, goes to Nnewi in Anambra State to do campaign. What do you think will be the reaction of the residents? It's obvious that they will disrupt the campaign. Another reason for the booing could be that, Ifeanyi Ubah is allegedly up against Chukwuma Soludo of APGA, Andy Uba of APC and Valentine Ozigbo of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), among others. See video HERE . In another report, there has been a spate of violence, killings and unrest in Anambra and in most of the southeast region over the forthcomi

Why Shettima is wrong for calling IPOB members "an outlawed terror gang" over sit-at-home order

Image
It's evident that the compulsory sit-at-home directive enforced by the leadership of the Indegenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), in the Southeastern region of the country, has been counterproductive as lots of casualties, including loses in the region's economy, have been recorded, but could this make the National President of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF), Yerima Shettima call the IPOB members "an outlawed terror gang?" The answer is 'NO' because, not all IPOB members have a hand in this happenings, and most of them are strongly against the sit-at-home directive. Shettima in a recent report, warned members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), over its call that the Middle Belt and Oduduwa Nation agitators should join in the sit-at-home directive, stating that, "the Southeast can sit-at-home for 10 years, but exporting their activities to the North will be faced with massive resistance from all lovers of peace in the North."
