Buhari orders NITDA to subject IPPIS, UTAS, U3PS to integrity test, sets to pay ASUU

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA to subject the Integrated Payroll Personnel Information System, IPPIS and the two other proposed payment solutions proposed by University workers to integrity test. This is as the Federal Government is making efforts towards ensuring that the Consiquential Adjustment/ minimum wage arrears are paid to the striking university workers this week in order to persuade them call off the ongoing strike. In another report , the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, University of Calabar branch has said the body is prepared to remain on strike till 2023 if necessary. Chairman of ASUU in the University of Calabar, UNICAL, Dr Edor J. Edor, said the body is prepared to remain on strike and hungry until President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government offers something concrete.
