Important Notice To Every Admitted 2023/24 UNIZIK Aspirant (UPDATED)

It's no longer news that some 2023/24 aspirants of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka who passed the cut-off mark for their individual courses have been admitted into the institution. However, this article is to remind the newly admitted students to ahead of physical clearance, start getting their documents among other things ready, mostly the local government identification letter and accommodation. Those who has seen "CONGRATULATIONS YOU'VE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION" and has accepted their admission should after a week, go to any JAMB accredited cyber cafe near them for the JAMB original result and admission letter.

Regarding UNIZIK's physical clearance; the truth is that after Unizik send your details to Jamb for verification and finally have you admitted via Jamb caps, next is you paying your acceptance fee but that's after your admission reflects in Unizik caps (we'll be updated on it when it does).

After paying acceptance fee, comes biometrics and capturing at digital library or JUPEB hall, then the PHYSICAL CLEARANCE which will determine the validity of your admission. Here you'll be properly accessed with your Jamb original result slip and Jamb admission letter (you can get yours in cyber cafe), birth certificate or certificate of baptism, O'level result (WAEC or NECO not necessarily certificate), local government identification letter, Passport photograph, Others include the E-clearance slip, Unizik admission slip, which are gotten after paying acceptance fee..

On that of local government identification letter, I'll advise you start getting yours now cause going for it do sometimes seem tedious especially when physical clearance starts as it's being gotten from your local area government office or village head residence, that means you or anyone that might go on your behalf will meet any representative of your locale, to write the letter for you. The letter states clearly that you're an indigene and the name to be there is your full name.

(UPDATED) Possible Fee judging from 2023/24 academic session:

1• Acceptance fee = 62k but if you'd change course or your course was changed, you'll pay additional 10K [DON'T PAY UNTIL DIRECTED BY UNIZIK].

2• General Studies (GS) fee = 21k

3• School fee = 162,500k

4• App fee = 2k

5• Medicals fee = 1k

6• On matriculation doings, some faculty do have the payment refunded.. so this should be in budget too.

7• Then you talk about the faculty dues which do vary from departments or faculties. Law last session paid 30k, other faculties are 25k+. While others are lesser (15k)...

Kindly note that the aforementioned fees are subject to possible change. This is just to know our minimum budget as it's obvious that the economy isn't favourable to some of us, in other words, use this as an estimate.

• Others include fees for handouts, textbooks, laboratory materials among others.

• Last is the lodge or hostel fee: It's important that once you get admitted, don't relax till school resume before you start looking for lodge if you don't want to stay in school hostel.
