Student Graduates With Perfect 5.0 CGPA Despite Losing Dad and Education Sponsor in Her Second Year

A latest graduate of Bowen University identified as Lotechukwu Isioma Ikpo has etched her name into the institution's annals history, becoming the first student to graduate with a flawless 5.0 out of 5.0 CGPA despite losing her father and education sponsor in her second year.

The groundbreaking achievement was unveiled during the university's 25th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, November 1, 2025, where Ikpo was also named the Best Graduating Student. Cheers erupted in the convocation hall as she mounted the stage repeatedly to receive a cascade of awards and honors for her unparalleled academic excellence.

In a heartfelt statement posted on its verified Facebook page as gathered by EruditeNewsBlog, Bowen University highlighted Ikpo's resilience amongst other amazing steps she took towards achieving this milestone. The post reads: "At our 20th Convocation Ceremony, one name lit up the hall - Lotechukwu Isioma Ikpo! Declared the Best Graduating Student, she made history as the first-ever graduate with a perfect 5.0/5.0 CGPA at Bowen University!
