The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY) has announced the resumption of academic activities for the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka affiliated programmes with the Polytechnic for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. According to an internal memo from the Osun State Polytechnic through the registrar, Abiodun O. Oloyede, to all Nnamdi Azikiwe University students, the new academic session (2025/2026) begins on Monday, September 22, 2025. Adding that all admitted students are expected to pay their acceptance fees and go to the Admissions Office within the next two weeks for certificate screening and registration.  See memo below: Meanwhile, students are strongly advised to comply with the resumption directive and complete all registration formalities promptly.

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, wishes to inform all prospective students of UNIZIK and the general public that the institution's Post-UTME, Direct Entry, and other related screening exercises for the 2025/2026 admission session will be conducted in a very transparent way via screening using JAMB/UTME scores and O’level results. According to a communiqué by the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke, the university has adopted an automated screening system that will combine both JAMB-UTME scores and O’level results, this in her words, is to make the process clear and fair for everyone.
